With the establishment of the Museum, a professional library was also founded, featuring a rich collection of historiographical publications and historical sources related to the Battle of the Neretva and World War II in the territory of Yugoslavia.

Since 1984, the library has also included the collection of the city library, and today it functions as the public library of Jablanica.
The library holdings are currently under revision and include approximately 14,000 publications, while the library itself is undergoing reorganization. The collection is continuously enriched through donations and acquisitions. The library is particularly proud of its periodicals collection and special collections.

An analysis of the holdings has shown that the oldest publication in the library dates back to 1890: Armin and Dorothea: A Poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Zagreb, 1890.
