Museum material forms the foundation for the professional work of any museum, while collections represent the primary organizational structure of museum holdings.
The collection of the Public Institution Museum “Battle for the Wounded on the Neretva” in Jablanica is divided into five main categories:
•    Collection of three-dimensional objects 
•    Collection of photographs 
•    Collection of ethnographic objects 
•    Collection of artworks 
•    Archival collection 

In addition to these holdings, within the archival collection the Museum preserves architectural drawings, conceptual and final designs of the memorial complex and the Makljen monument, as well as thematic and exhibition plans and conceptual-historical frameworks of exhibitions organized by the Museum.

In the coming period, the digitization of the entire museum collection is planned.
