The exhibition „Toward the Modern Society“ is dedicated to an exhausted ordinary farmer who came out of a long war, poverty, hunger and disease.

Through authentic objects and displays of old rural architecture, the exhibition tells the story of how an ordinary farmer is forced to become a citizen and replace agriculture with industrial machines. This is a story about a period of economic prosperity, rich infrastructure and the beginning of the emancipation of women in Jablanica and its surroundings.
