At the memorial complex “Battle for the Wounded on Neretva River” in Jablanica, on May 8, 2021 was marked the 78th anniversary of the Battle for the Wounded and Liberation Day.

Numerous anti-fascists gathered in Jablanica in memory of the most humane battle of Second World War. 
Although the celebration is held in pandemic conditions, this did not prevent the arrival of numerous guests, anti-fascists, UABNOR members from all over B&H, even the region. By dropping carnations into the Neretva River, laying flowers and a special program, the anti-fascists paid a tribute to the fallen fighters in Jablanica who gave their lives for freedom in 1943. The fight against fascism is still going on, - said the anti-fascists, which is why they attach great importance to marking these dates.
